Will probably be played with a tennis ball so no one gets hurt, you won't be given out first ball either.

One hand one bounce will be the new boundary rope rule by then

Players quotas aligned to LGBTIQ+ and however many more letters are added by then; combined series, not aligned to binary; no competitions, just participation; no awards so everyone is a winner; Welcome to Country mandatory before each ball is bowled … for starters.

Huh? I would say it's definitely their RIGHT to give THEIR opinion.. just as people are within their own rights as to whether they listen / agree / disagree etc.

On the same token, most are regular starters in some format.

One wonders why Stoinis isn't on there, he seems to be first picked in any T20 match.

I have always thought sledging and agro etc are inappropriate on the cricket field & its good that something is, finally, being done about it.

But, it is not Cricket Australia's or Australian Captain's right to give us their opinion about climate change, #YES or any other social issue at the time. It worked so well for Qantas and Joyce.

Ok boomer.

As I said - it has worked so well for Qantas and Joyce

This bit, apart from what I read on here I have no idea about his opinions, beliefs or whatever. I'll listen to his cricket talk but zone off when it comes to anything else.

I am a strange cat though, I can sit through 4 adverts and when quizzed on any of them after the show returns I couldn't tell you anything about them...........except that Land Cruisers drive us home.

"A right is a privilege or power that is typically held by the general public. Rights are usually the result of a constitution, statute, regulation, or judicial precedent. Rights can be legal, social, or ethical principles of freedom or entitlement"

They have the floor because of their position in the Australian cricket team and that is who they are representing.
It's definitely their right to talk about cricket.

But I agree with your overall sentiment.

Quiz:

How many beers has Travis Head consumed since the end of the Test yesterday.

1. None
2. 1-6
3. 7-12
4. 13-18
5. 19-24
6. 25+

My guess is all of the above.

We're not representing the Australian cricket team which represents Australia for cricket.

I'm quite happy to listen to his personal opinions.

Even if they're the views of Cricket Australia, or Qantas for that matter who gives a shit, they don't make policies.

Never got why people get so annoyed by celebrities in a sports people having opinions. I guess the people who get all sooky about it are the real 'snowflakes'
