No Surprise South, Centrals and Sturt have had the strongest junior teams in recent years, have their metro zones and country zones almost as one and in the growth areas around the city.

Goes to show how piss poor South are at translating that into senior success. Centrals are right up there again and Sturt are the only team that could scare Glenelg.

Was just reading the West Adelaide 2024 Annual Report on their website.

The football club had a net deficit of -$212,514 for 2024 and only had $598 in cash and cash equivalents

That is a good year compared to most.

Nearly most clubs have been through it included my North in the Early 2000s which including marching down North east Rd on a Saturday morning before a Glenelg game at Prospect and got belted and my young daughter couldn't even wave her new flag in the grandstand as we went goal less in the first half

There is one giant difference. West are getting support from the SANFL and the other clubs. North got none because at the time the SANFL were hellbent on having an 8 team competition to remove the bye. The powers that be were hopeful that North would fold or merge.
