Cooper is trying to spin it yeh?

He must be a talent and don’t want to pile on, but he should be at the WACA this week

Yet to take a first class wicket, but bowling in a test match.

Spare me.

5 penalty runs for the ball hitting the helmet on the ground behind Carey.

First time I’ve ever seen that at any level of cricket.

I’m going to assume then he doesn’t spin it!
Slow left arm or left arm slow are actually two alternative ways to describe left arm orthodox (left arm off spin).

COOPER CONNELLY
A lot of criticism about the selection of Cooper Connelly
I think he is good enough, but I agree his selection front of other players is debateable

The reason for the post
You should not condemn a young player in his first test , especially playing in foreign conditions
He is a brilliant white ball player, and that might be his International calling
CC has one attribute , that being natural ability
That attribute is the reason why I'm gunna bat for him on this site as a potential good test cricketer

CC FILE
Batting : Yes yes yes has the talent
Bowling : Nothing exciting from what Ive seen
Fielding : Good outfielder

I think he's the worst selection in history for Australia, under the circumstances. Harder to justify than Bryce McGain, John Hastings and Michael Beer. And that's taking into account the likelihood of him becoming test quality one day.

Recall it happening about 25yrs in one of the test matches over the summer.
But it's as rare as Hayley's comet

Carey just letting the ball go past for 4 byes.
Not ideal when there's another keeper in the side
