One doing the rounds that arguably the greatest player in the history of the NTFL, in Cameron Ilett, will be making a few appearances for a team in this competition in 2025.

Do you know which team ORDB? Myponga had 2 flying down 2 years ago, and somehow managed to dodge the salary cap / travel allowance cap?

Yankalilla have a very good Tiwi Islanders programme and there’s quite a few of them playing there.

Victor playing Happy Valley this week at Yank, then Nairne the following week but still need a venue.

That’s not good JJ. I can only assume that’s over Creek/Strath way. Victor attendances have been good.

Decent hitout today for victor vs happy valley in some warm conditions, both teams missing a few, jack felt and darnel tucker showed some class, for the roos Overall, heaslip, Mayes and messecke were good and few kids showed they are upto the level

HV Missing Rodgers, Gill and Roos Elms, Dowling, Gibbs, Brown, Gibbs, Wise, Basham

roos play narine at kangarilla next week

Hearing Strath very light on for players on the track and will probably need colts players to help field a B Grade.
Pretty concerning for a town of it's size now. Time will tell i guess?

Creeks numbers have been pretty light on as well having lost a few more players.
Been a struggle tho things starting to pick up a bit with maybe a few players returning by the sounds of it?
The extended Hot Weather probably not helping players to get in the footy mood.

Be Shocked if either Creek or Strath pushed for Finals tho one never knows

Without a huge amount of info to go on, I’d say….

Victor look similar to last year
McLaren- stronger
Bays- more depth but are they better?
Myp- lweaker
LC- weaker
Will- possibly stronger but not much info
MC- stronger
Strath - weaker
Yank- stronger
GPE - stronger

Round 1

With not a lot to go on at this early stage it’s a bit of a guessing game but here goes:

Victor vs GoolwaPE. Should be nothing like last years 50 goal drubbing. Goolwa look to have put some quality into their squad. Victor not at full strength for round 1 but should still get over the line.

Myponga v McLaren. Based on the chatter of ins and outs I think McLaren.

Willunga vs Bays. Willunga are quite the unknown quantity. Bays had a very good minor round in 24 and have brought in lots of depth. Their B grade side has a handful of last years A graders named- Bays to win.

Strath v Yank. Could be a good contest. Yank to win

Compass v Creek. Compass to win well at home
