Amusing how they accidently announced it on Twitter yesterday

We were discussing it at a function (for about 5 minutes - 4m 55s too long) at Norwood Oval last night
This election is really a choice between the $hit and the $hittier
Which one is which is the question

Its a choice between status quo which is not great, or going down a Trump style leadership which is also not great.
If you're an independent you'd be a good chance this election

It’s depressing … then add that my local MP is the Poodle mini-me, James Stevens, i have more interest in watching paint dry than following the campaign for the next 5 weeks.

Yeah, my local options are pretty grim as the incumbent is a bloke I despise and the the other clowns are useless. I’m in probably the safest Labor seat in the land so I’ll just go in early for an absentee vote and hone up on my artistic skills I’d imagine

I look forward to all the posts in here about the positive meaningful policy announcements the two leaders make in the coming weeks. I'll do my best to keep up with the good news for you all.

So far :

Housing Trust Albo has offered a tax cut and it's estimated that the revised tax cuts would give all taxpayers up to $268 in 2026-27 and $536 every year after that.

Temu Trump has a fuel excise plan that would save a one-car family about $750 a year — or $14 a week — and a two-car family about $1,500 a year — or $28 a week.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I think the only decent thing I’ve heard from the Libs so far is to ban gaming advertising before live sport.
It’s not perfect but at least it’s something. Appears that Labor don’t want to rock the boat with the gaming industry.

Both parties sound pretty vanilla currently.
I would never vote Labor and can’t stand the Libs either currently but the alternatives aren’t too flash so who knows

Coalition $1.72
Labor. $2.10

I was thinking $1.90 each. But they are the experts, I thought.

Their other market is for next Labor leader after t the election and after Albo. The experts are quoting $10 on Bill Shorten.

Now

Coalition $3.00
Labor. $1.40

A big change. Trump factor perhaps playing a role?
