Are you taking Diss Jnr? If not I can recommend a romantic little getaway just down at st francis winery at Reynella, spa room, voucher for the restaurant and you can still do the whole McLaren Vale/Victor thing afterwards...

Yes, DissJnr (or rather MissDissJnr) is coming too....

This is her face when we asked if she wanted to go away with us:

Me and my partner went to the Flinders Rangers last Easter. Absolutely sensational place to visit. We stayed in cabins which were comfortable enough and a good price at Rawnsley Park Station. Had been through Europe a few years earlier and the views throughout the Flinders Rangers were easily equal to anything I saw overseas. Best experience was the Ridgetop 4WD tour at Arkaroola. I guess it depends how your little one travels because there is a fair amount of driving involved, although you could stay in different spots throughout the week to cut out the drive back.

Also have recently been to Kangaroo Island which is lots of fun with the wildlife. Bottom end of YP is also a great place...

You can stay just 5 minutes up the road toward Barmera at Loch Luna Eco-stay, a fully self-contained cabin built on a cliff-top overlooking the Loch Luna lagoon. Take her there, Diss, & Miss Diss will be in bliss & you won't miss!

I was canoeing through the Loch Luna Ecostay a month or so ago, beautiful area, the River is up shit creek though, in most parts it was only about knee deep at best. Around the Lock 3 area, it is really deep though.

Yep, they do. Went on an hour one when we were there. Was good fun, although the groins were a bit worse for wear, I'm no Man from Snowy River...

It was a good thing I had had lessons - last time we were there something spooked my horse and he stood up on his hind legs and did a full 360 degrees. Everybody, including me and the horse, were surprised to see me still in the saddle at the end. I'm told it looked impressive to the onnlookers - it was all instinct and all happened a bit fast for me to know how I did it!
