North took it up to them in the second term, but the Dogs always had the answers. The second half was all Centrals as they just dominated - and had the ton up on the 3 quarter time siren. They kept the foot on the pedal in the last quarter and ran away with a big win.
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Centrals play that dominantly! At no stage did they put the cue in the rack and just kept attacking all game. Hopefully we see that more often this season.
That also brings the Good Friday ledger between the two sides to 7-2 in favour of Centrals, including 4-2 at Prospect!
And that's where the ledger will stay.
North wishes to retain a regular GF game at Prospect; hence we played a second GF fixture in a row as an away fixture.
So as of next season we will find another opposition to play a GF fixture at the Ponderosa.
