Anyway onto the game.. I thought the Dogs attitude and work rate was a big improvement on the last two weeks which was pleasing..A bit like the Crows last night though, they failed to make the most of their second qtr dominance, wasting numerous inside 50 entries. The Crows were always going to come out with more intent after half time and we simply couldn’t go with them. Looking for the positives, Puds never gave up and kept running racking up 29 disposals with acceptable efficiency, Presbury also was influential on the ball, along with Chisholm and Dittmar. Iles found some form in defence and Adams also continued his steady form. Also thought Reed looked at home at the level and impressed on debut.
The bye will be welcomed to reset mentally and physically and if we can get another couple of players back (thinking Annand and Kendall) we will have 3 potentially winnable games after the bye. All is not lost!
