I take it that you're of a differing opinion to mine, I'm cool with that.

I know Smith Street is one of your favourites like me (unfortunately missed them recently) and I know you've mentioned them on here before (I searched it and thought it was last year but it was in 2023), they would be great and easy being from Melbourne plus Wil is a big Collingwood supporter. They're actually playing an East Coast Aus tour starting in September and are playing in St Kilda the night before the GF.Dutchy wrote:Nothing divides opinion like music taste
Has Paul Kelly ever done the GF? Leaps and Bounds would be a perfect song
The Smith Street Band, from Melbourne, have a few footy related songs, but unfortunately will never get on.

He's also been charged with murder, albeit he got off, and has been accused of homophobia in the past.
Like I said, I don't have a problem with him, but given the AFL's constant virtue signalling, their willingness to turn a blind eye to Snoop's questionable antics does the AFL no favours.

Pretty much my view but with smarter words.
Well done One who trades.

Being pedantic i think the AFL GF is one of the biggest days on the Aussie calendar and is icon Australia. I would love to see an all Aussie line up.... for less than the cost of snoop dogg im sure they could do a great aussie extravaganza that included something for everyone with the likes of.......
Hilltop Hoods
Baker Boy
Paul Kelly
Mike Brady
Smith Street Band
Plus a bunch more names.

Love it - and announce they are putting the $6m+ they save into grassroots footy

Ill watch and ill probably enjoy. No doubt there will be some shizzle with his nizzle and the crowd will be hanging their scarves only from the left side
However its not going to be on the same level as his half time superbowl show so i can see many disapointing.
As mentioned in previous posts I do agree it seems a massive disconnect for Australia's biggest sporting event neverminded the contradictory nature of the AFL being the morale beacons of life to then employee this bloke. I guess we are lucky Port arent playing in the GF otherwise Willie may have been caught puff puff giving in the changerooms pre game.
