Dogs get up by a point after the Crows hit the post with an easy set shot with less than a min to go.

Looks like Gazza's Bali trip might have to wait.

Gutsy win given the injuries and opposition.

All played well. Doug Cochrane is going to be a superstar

Harry was a bit more like his usual self. Sharps best game for the season thus far, Whitlum had a great game and made the game saving tackle late in the last quarter.

Sharp, Thomas and Posthuma got the club awards. Gutsy win assisted by Burgess and Crouch not fronting.

Atmosphere as good as it can be with one set of supporters.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Hazydog fair assessment of awards from yesterday
Shouldnt be surprised with Beau he would be just about be leading B & F
What is a concern is that he could play against us next season
If the rumours about Thommo heading to Port as assistant to Carr are true ,he may take Beau with him

Barreau and Lange are 27.
But it's definitely a very young group. The Dogs have clearly rediscovered their mojo in producing talented kids... the U16S are minor premiers and the U18s sit 3rd but with the best % of all sides. They lost a few along the way, due to a huge State side representation.

Yesterday the 18s played Glenelg with the winner to make finals. It was one way traffic with an astonishing 22 goal to zero result. And to emphasise the Clubs riches in this age group, the first two goals in the league game were scored by lads who could have played in the 18s clash.

Sharp may well be joined by Schubert, Nairne and Gordon in being drafted this year... if any miss, they would play league next year on what I have seen.

A massive 4000 crows supporters at the game. You could hear a pin drop when they scored.

The pin drop was louder at the Bay.

We had an opportunity to make it 8 when they turned the footy over.
Unfortunately we gave the footy back to them.

Gordon is too young, his draft year is 2026.

Sharp, Nairn, Schubert & Le Ray are all certainties to be drafted this year.
