NOW is the time for Elliott and Adcock to face reality and just come out and admit that they just can NOT cut it at 1st class level anymore (in Adcocks case, never has) and for the benefit of Australian cricket, Sth Aust and importantly themselves announce their Retirements from state cricket because they are just Dragging everyone else down with them. AS for the selectors   :butthead: :butthead: :axe: :axe:

His (i.e. White) bowling, and his confidence in his bowling has gone backwards! You wouldn't want that to happen to Cullen. He looked like he found a bit of form on Wednesday so the captaincy is probably the last thing he needs.

I think the captaincy needs to not only go to someone who is in the teams best 11, but is cemented in the best 11. Adcock and Bailey do not fit this category, and if he doesn't have a better year this year, neither does Cullen.

Everyone, keeps saying it has to be someone else and gives us the selection criteria but then when it comes to names the silence is deafening ....

Who is cemented in our best 11? Dizzy, Tait (injury or Aust duties), Boof (out again this match I see) .... who else? Manou maybe after his form in Tassie but before then he was one SAFooty's popular targets .....

This is the dilemna SA cricket has found itself in I hope we are never in it again

Fair point hondo. Problem is now that Adcock really needs to be dropped cos he just isn't up to this level as a player. Not sure why, he has the talent but fact is he simply doesn't appear capable of making runs. They really need to give the captaincy to Dizzy now whether he wants it or not. Too much pressure for anyone else who is struggling to secure a regular spot.

Delmont out. 5/80 LBW Bollinger.

Poor Decision according to Cric Info. Too High and maybe pitched outside leg.

So far this year we've seen a crap SA top order, followed by stout resistance and crap NSW fielding. As you were then gentlemen as at 5 for 80 odd perennial butterfingers Forrest has dropped Manou for not many......

Whatever NSW has it clearly isn't catching!

Redbacks getting Fryed? Another 'dodgy' decision by Umpire Fry according to ca. Never like to see this in the game. The benefit of the doubt must be applied at all times! (Yeah I used to be a 'batsman').
