I know about the cash flow problems we have had companies ringing up to be paid at reception

Will be 12 months this Saturday since my then 14yo daughter did her ACL with 5 mins to go in a knockout final when they were 6 goals down. Fast forward a year, she’s done really well with her rehab, been a long, hard & unfair road on the kid but she’s got there. Her footy team cruised through the 2nd semi last week & will be hot faves in the GF. She’s gone to a lot of training sessions & runs water, but if they win the GF without her it’s going to be a tough watch.

Shifty Lizard and Port Burger closing the doors.

Big fan of the Bruce Leezard IPA, sad to see some quality small businesses go.

both these types of businesses I fear will be dead soon. Not many can afford to spend on inflated prices for beers and burgers

I don’t eat burgers but they do seem expensive for what they are.

Cutla months ago the ex GF wanted to get a bacon, sausage and egg muffin from Maccas for brekky on uber eats, I said "blow that, I'll grab some bacon and just cook us the same"

I went and got the Woolies brand sausage meat fritz and whipped up breakfast, that meat makes them 10 times better than HJ's or Maccas. Problably clogged up my arteries a little more but hey, plenty more where they came from.

Yep … I’m no tightarse, but burgers are now probably around $15 or so, much more at a few places, and it’s so easy to make your own, doesn’t take very long, you know everything is fresh, and it’s exactly how you want it. Having a couple of good bakeries in the area also means that the rolls are great.

I'll only grab one if I have a filthy hangover, the shop around the corner from me makes an absolute monster that I have to eat with a knife and fork..........and over a few sittings.
