SANFL side?

In his interview yesterday ( it is actually worth watching )* he said coaching next year probably isn't for him. Calling games perhaps, strength and conditioning etc and any other opportunities appear more attractive than coaching again right away.

*Made some comments around himself and Travis Boak. He wishes Boak was there when he started at the club as he'd have been a better person if Boak had been there to guide him. Stark admission to make and the whole interview was refreshingly honest.

Adelaide confirm a contract extension for Josh Worrell.

The 24-year-old, who was already contracted until the end of 2027, has extended by a further six years.

The deal, which will take him beyond free agency, ensures Worrell remains a Crow until at least the end of 2033.

8 years.

I blame the port supporters who bought tickets just cause they want to watch the footy.

Rankine now fills the news cycle for another 24 hours in the lead up to Walkers 300th and the clubs biggest game in 8 years. Completely botched the handling of this and Adelaide haven't got alot wrong lately. This they have.

Think they are in a no-win situation here.

Keep him away from the game and the media gutter feeders are going to slam them that he's not here.

He needed to face the media + womens team prior to going O/S. I understand he probably wasn't in the headspace to do so at the time, but that's allowed this to really drag out now (media would have still used it as part of their build up to tomorrow night though, no doubt).

Yeah, 100%. Even if it's an apology with no further questions, it's done and dusted, he can go to Italy and the rest of the club moves on, with the focus on eh home final and Tex's 300th

It could have been completely club controlled, just put it on their web pages and have no question time. Easy.
