Dreamtime in Darwin tonight, will be the only AFLW game I watch this year

3/9 umpires are all ex NTFLUA so good to watch some old colleagues do their work.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Right, team selections tonight for Adelaide v Collingwood and it feels like a long time since we've had footy to talk about.

So it's looking like Dan McStay out, for Mason Cox. Am I missing something here?

Agreed, I'd think they've gone with the height to stretch Adelaide in defence. Keane and Worrall are very good with the body early, Cox doesn't engage and tries to jump at the ball. Something different in their forward half that had lots of opportunity to score last time they were here and didn't make the most of it.

The closer we get to the first round of finals the harder it seems to be to select winners.

I had the Crows as Monty's until today, Collingwood's finals experience, the Izak saga, Adelaide just falling over the line against the lower ranked sides. I sorta want the Crows to win but I have a lot of FB friends that are Crow supporters and turn into floggers when it comes to footy, they're more worried about Port's poor season than they are about their own sides success.

I reckon the Lions get the job done against the Cats, once again I had Geelong home but seeing how well Brisbane travel and the way they rise for the big games is impressive, the harder run into the finals prepares them better for mine.

I'd like to see the Hawks get up but they've never won at Engie Stadium, that is a red flag for mine.

I think the fairytale ends for the Gold Coast, they only have themselves to blame as up unitl 3 weeks they should've been playing a home final this week and setting themselves up for a serious crack at the Cup, getting pummeled at home against the Giants and then losing to a hapless Port gives me no confidence at all. Freo is the darkhorse in this finals series IMO, their on the road win against the Woods really put them on the map, thake out the belting they copped against the Lions at home and their form has been as good as anyones, beating the Dogs like they did would give them great confidence.

Nice preview mate, Adelaide v Collingwood and Geelong v Brisbane are huge and so hard to pick a winner but I'm most intrigued in Fremantle v Gold Coast, how will the Suns go in a final after an underwhelming end to the season? I feel like they have more talent than Fremantle but obviously Fremantle have the home ground advantage to which I cant help think will Fraudmantle turn up and they shit the bed? I still can't trust them.

It's probably the beauty of the season, there's a lot of guess work when it comes to selecting a winner and I can understand your feelings toawrds Fraudmantle, the two sides starting with F killed my tips this season.

Although I think we had more drubbings this season than most, I also think we had more even battles than other seasons too (if that makes any sense).

Geelong could quite easily get off to a flyer and force the Lions into playing catch up footy.
