Yeah.
It’s ok but I wouldn’t rush back.
Plenty of other better burger joints around.

Fudd's seems to get rated pretty highly down south

There’s so many around these days.
Not sure how they all turn a profit

Like Coffee shops, Indian/Chinese cuisines low production costs /low ingredient costs+ low equipment/staffing costs + high profit margin = great business opportunity

Sweet Amber - Semaphore Road

Family took me on a tour for Fathers Day, Sweet Amber took 30 minutes to serve us a trio of dips, the young bloke with his hands in his pockets couldn't have cared less. People next to us on got told 30 minutes for a pizza, at the 1:15 mark they asked how long and with hands in pockets shrugged the shoulders and went "How would I know? Probably 20 minutes but go ask the pizza bloke".

Woof. Banned. 0/10.

Coopers Ale House - Gepps Cross

Packed for Fathers Day, probably 200 people dining.

1/2 kilo BBQ wings to share, out in under 10 minutes from ordering, nicely done indeed.

Fathers Day special 500g Angus Beef Schnitty with a massive pile of chips and really generous serve of salad, $35 and out bang on 10 minutes after the entree. Two pots of gravy on the side to handle the massive schnitty, well played.

Both Jnrs went the 700g Chicken parmi, $35 also. Great value and really well done.

Value - 8.5/10
Service - 9/10 extra point for the two pots of gravy
Overall rating - 8.75/10

What about high rent, high electricity costs, high wages, high insurance, equipment/plant costs etc etc
Getting harder and harder to run successful small businesses these days
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Think zero **** has kicked in.

Read somewhere a while back they were trying to sell the business but no takers or an interested party withdrew very late in the negotiations, then they were just close it once the lease expired. Building owner has possibly heavily discounted the rent and they are trying to sell again.

I know one of the owners, they brought it at it's very peak just pre COVID and since then it's been a lead weight around his neck.

I can't see anyone buying it.

Don't disagree, but because of the reasons i stated those types of shops have a much better chance of survival under the current conditions.

I mean when you're paying $5-$8 for a plate of steamed rice which probably costs about 50c given the bulk amounts they would purchase in you've got a punchers chance.
