At Swan Ct, Renown Park, 2 cricketing greats met, & acknowleged each other- the mighty Ecky, & the gun recruit, Punk Rooster met in the battle for the innaugral Ecky-Punk Cup.

The honours went to Ecky & his mighty Bulldogs, exacting some revenge from when Fitzroy beat Adelaide Lutheran in the Div 5 Grand Final.

Ecky claimed Punk's single run innings was the best 1-run innings he'd ever seen.
