Will get in touch with a West Croydon lad I know. He'll be able to verify whether he played Bs in Rd 9, given he played on him against Central United the year before head to head.

I'll report back when I hear.

OSB legit looking for a new coach? Seems strange.

Brett Joseph to Para Hills is a good get, don’t be surprised to see Terrel Rigney announced as a signing in coming days.

Big loss for your lads then Bedge, he’ll have a few follow him?

No idea, would be disappointed if they decided to leave the club to join a team a few hundred metres down the road in the same division.

No idea, gave me no indication of his plans before finals, wanted to wait until after - now it’s the new committees job.

On a scale of 1 -10 Bedge, 10 being best, how would you rate the A graders commitment to being the best they could be come the sticky end of the season.

I have some strong views and opinions.. sadly that's me on a lot of things haha.. I don't want to be a negative Nancy, or appear to have excuses - and given my role, I need to shoulder a bit of the responsibility / blame / accountability..

but.. I think given the results over the finals series and diving deeper into the actual performances, I think it's fair to say the majority of the A grade collective did not give themselves the best opportunity to win it.

I did touch on it during the season at preso - that both our A/B grade had great opportunities for success, but they were their own enemy and the reality is the difference between sides that are good, and sides that win, is the commitment piece and working towards constant improvement.

Ingle Farm have been blessed with good talent the past two / three years, and for the most part got away with being talented alone.
Other sides have had reasonable sides but have continued to get better as the seasons go on, and have clearly worked at their game.

Think that commitment piece stretches longer than the finals though - and both sides pissed away a golden opportunities. Standards were allowed to slip, people were allowed to effectively do as they pleased with little accountability.. and was all masked or dismissed with winning.
