Are you new to the internet?

What, we all gave to agree ;)

Nah, just that everyone with a differing opinion is a fool who must be mocked incessantly.

Gotch you, shouldn’t have a different opinion. “One of us, one of us”

Pick 9, a future first, a second rounder this year or next and Henry Hustwaite.

Which becomes pick 12 to 14, depending on academy rorts, a pick in the high teens or early 20's next year, a pick in the 30's or 40's this year (in a crap draft) and some spud

Pass.
Hard disagree.
I’m taking that deal

I agree with you Jim, if im Essendon im taking that and running.
im praying that you dont accept it, its way overs for a 30yr old, its about right for a 28yr old imo.
Happy for us to hang onto those picks and turn them into Butters next year.

I would be happy to offer that deal for Bailey Humphrey, 2 1sts and a 2nd minus the player that GC would have no interest in anyway. That would surely turn the Suns head

And turned off reply comments on the socials.

I wonder who has asked the AFL if they can draft him in? They, the AFL, wouldn't have just announced it for the sake of it, someone has enquired.

This was posted on bigfooty by "Gerard Whateley" its brilliant - read it in Gerards voice

We can hold two thoughts at once: what Thomas did was serious and unacceptable; and a club with proven appetite for oversight might be the safest place for the long, unglamorous work of reform.

And that club is Geelong.

Only their environment - stable, insular, relentlessly adult - is built to absorb the performative noise this recruit will no doubt attract.

If the AFL is serious about supervised redemption rather than theatre, it should do more than merely “allow” Geelong; it should prefer them. The Cats have a documented knack for turning the discarded into the functional - even the exceptional (see: Stengle, delisted to All-Australian) - because they pair duty of care with duty of consequence.

This is not absolution. It is probation with a football attached. Let Geelong set the terms: education, reporting, zero-tolerance tripwires. Which is why the mooted AFL-funded additional rookie spot could prove to be the perfect containment vessel - a sealed crucible where Thomas' progress is measured, not presumed, and where the steady hand of Andrew Mackie rests on the kill-switch.

I read somewhere on FB yesterday that TT was playing golf with the Carlton hierarchy. Could be made up - but I'd prefer if he didn't rock up at the club.

With the clubs all having AFLW teams, it’s not a good look to have TT

Bet Adelaide grab him though

AFter the handling of the Rankine incident. TT would be welcome at the AFC by the fans atleast.

Theyd probably feel justified in booing the victim who reported him in the first place.

Then put this out :

We farewell Ollie Florent after a trade with Carlton for a future third round pick.

We thank Ollie for his contribution on and off the field and wish him all the best with his new chapter at Carlton.

Hawthorn is about to take another swing at Merrett.

The new offer is poised to be 10, 22 and a F1.

Hawks about to get 22 from the Blues in a separate deal that involves them sliding back from 9 to 10.

Hawthorn view this as a triple first round package that a rebuilding club like Essendon would like.
