Are the extra picks for WC, Rich, Ess & Melb priority picks or have those teams just traded for them & it's coincidence.
Just looks weird the first 8 picks like that :D
Essendon did a trade last year for Melbourne’s first this year. At the time we were ridiculed for it as Dees expected to be around the mark. Been fun death riding them this year

Lack of quality back up rucks around currently

Goldy is a fair bit better than Cox, even at this stage of his career. Plus, his coaching of the young blokes puts him head and shoulders ahead of the other two.

But Cox is a better CHF than Goldy.

Is that a pornub search?

But Cox Goldy...... shared for your enjoyment. NSFW.

Never played a full season

Fair but hes never even got close to a 30-goal season is the point.

Hes played over 60 games in the last 4 years and averages 0.75 goals a game.

His best season Played 21 games in 2022 and kicked 15 goals.

Played 16 last season and kicked 14 goals
Franky Evans played 10 games and kicked 13 goals in the same season

Durdin will be lucky to kick 20 goals in a season let alone 3 iMHO

Not just your opinion, in your honest opinion.

I'm not Port fan in the SANFL and I would've thought he'd actually appreciate the way that entering the AFL gave his team a chance to be significant, wouldn't have dominated the 2000's if Port weren't in the AFL, they manipulated the player talent pool beautifully.

I'm with you, if his last name is Phillip, no-one is remotely interested. Bit too short and no real AFL attribute other than being fit, which isn't an AFL attribute IMHO

Love the sour grapes about the decade of dominance.

We all love Port in the AFl. 119 points and its now 21 years and youve won **** all.

What's not to like.

Some wonderful shithousery from the Bombers, they're reported to have offered Josh Weddle $7M over 7 years, as he's out of contract at the end of next season

The Dons have put forward a deal of at least seven years at more than $1mil a season. The entirety would nudge $10mil.

Big fish.

PS - Why not do that a month ago and work him into the Merrett deal?

I’m guessing because to get him this year the trade value would be massive whereas being out of contract end of year it would give the parties time to work something out more favourable next year.
Let’s be real though, he isn’t leaving the Hawks to come to us although I’m happy if we can drive his next contract up a stack for them ;)

Bigger fish than Wehr, Durdin & Brodie combined!

Hawks wouldn't let him go in a fit, that's why.

Drive his price up next year, takes Hawks out of the Butters sweepstakes if he stays. Win/win

I’d say with a full year to run on his contract that Weddle was untouchable. Next year when he is out of contract perhaps he might be attainable but zero chance of coming to us.
I think we will throw some stupid money at a FA next year as we will be nowhere near cap this year or next
