gadj1976 wrote:Put some pre-sale TAB tickets on today. But old dopey me, I had the wrong race. That was ok for the tri's and pick 4's because they instantly rejected as there are no numbers above (about) 16 in race 8, but I've now got 50 on the 14 in R8.... at 61s.

And it wouldn't refund. So I decided after 15 mins of the bar staff being on the phone to the TAB, to forget cancelling it and keep it. Let's hope the old saying of 'never cancel an incorrect bet' comes true.

Go Sir Myka!

Im actually looking at backing that one today, Doudle is probably the dodgiest trainer in SA at the moment, his horses are going very well, dont think he's taking it across the border for a training run

This year my interest in the cup is all time low.

I looked today and saw a jockey named Thor Hammer

My grandfather, bless his soul, would bet on two flies crawling up a wall.

As kids, he told us the reason there was a TAB near his house was because they built it there so he didn't have as far to go to put a bet on. He also had a tips board in the smoko room at lunch that's he put his tips on. Loved to gamble.

Never bet on the Melbourne Cup.

First time poster in here

Backed the favourite $10 E/W, carrying 53 and from shute 8

Barnicle Bills Family pack (upgraded to barramundi) and a prawn snack pack for tea, if it wins today. A couple of longnecks of WED if it places.

Will walk into a TAB again 3/11/2026, maybe.

I took a Pointsbet offer of Half Yours by 1+ length at 15 bucks too. Got it fixed at 9.50. How things turn quickly after Saturday's shocker on the punt.
