Maybe I’m reading too much into to but Webster being released to play for Tassie over the weekend whilst all the others in the test squad were rested indicates to me that Webster has already been told he is out

Is that a good thing because pitches are generally harder to bat on then or is it a criticism because it's the cricket equivalent to junk time.
