Today I witnessed something suspiciously close to Bodyline bowling.
NSW allrounder LAMBERT mid afternoon bowled around the wicket.
His field was short leg , fine leg, and a backward square which changed
to deep backward square depending on the batsman.
LAMBERT bowled around the wicket at the right handers and bowled swiftly.
He bowled close to 75% of his deliveries above chest height aimed mostly at the body.
At one stage he hit MANOU several times in one over.
One very irate spectator yelled out for Katich to stop the bodyline crap.
He also yelled out it was MANOU batting not BRADMAN.
The spectator booed on several occasions.
I think it was overdone but within the laws of cricket although not in the spirit.
But he did bowl fast today and had the SA batsmen fractious.

Thats right! I wonder if Lambert would have applied the same tactics to Shaun Tait if he was out there at no. 11 instead of Cullen!
Tait would have most likely killed him
