is the 51 ball ton a record ? NO hookesy still has that with a 34 ball/ 43 minute century at AO in 1982.

Today, the 26 year-old blasted a century which took just eight minutes longer than Hookes', earning himself a permanent spot in cricketing annals and putting WA firmly on their way towards an outright Pura Cup win against Queensland.

In an exhibition of hitting not seen in Australian first class cricket since Hookes' effort 25 years ago, Ronchi took 51 minutes and 51 balls to reach three figures, with six fours and 11 sixes flying off his blade.

Reaching 50 in 40 balls, it took just 11 more balls for Ronchi to reach the ton, with a scoring sequence that read 6, 6, 4, 6, 0, 1, 6, 6, 6, 4, 6.
I went to a fight the other night, and a hockey game broke out. - Rodney Dangerfield (1921 - 2004)

TAS all out 169 2nd dig lose outright by an innings
Gerard Denton the ex TAS fast bowler took 6/32 off 20.1 overs
He is without doubt the most under-rated quick in the country
Hollywood Harwood 3/40 as well.

Pretty happy that the Blues have claimed the points against the Warriors as they are starting to look ominous. I think mally's boy might have overtaken my mate Paine this season. I've still got my doubts about the Warriors attack though. The Vics also look good but appear to be quite inconsistent...it is all about which Bushrangers side happens to turn up on the day. Tassie a bit disappointing so far this year.
