Our work is madness from about September onwards and I have to make decisions daily on which 30-40% of our customer base am I going to piss off, it gets very taxing and depressing.

I went out Saturday lunch time and one thing led to another I found myself lobbing home at 6am Sunday, it totally threw my momentum out, I've hit a wall since and have done very little exercise since where as I was doing at least 15km per day. Fortunately I reached the weight goal that I set out to achieve and my intermittent fasting has maintained it but I've gotta find the energy and motivation to get back into it as it was great for my mental health.

I have two lots of 4 days off over the break but the way work dies off immediately after Christmas it is like a break anyway.

Apologies for the rant, I just keep myself locked away and count down the days without making anyone else's ears bleed.

I hear you brother.

Just had a customer blow up colossal on the phone because he's waiting on goods that were due last week.

So I go a drag two blokes from one area into another area in the factory to get the aforementioned customers work pushed through knowing the two blokes I've pulled off* the other work will result in those goods being late and that customer blowing up colossal at me.

Our customers complain we don't communicate enough and it's true, we don't, I'm over calling people to deliver bad news.

I just submit a rolling 48 hour plan where customers, customer service or sales reps can view what's coming up.

I always get hit up on the day where they plead their case, I just smile and say "duly noted, I'll do my best".

We've been sitting on about 150% capacity for some time, when one area goes nuts I politely point out that you can't fit 3 litres of milk in a 2 litre container.

It does get very draining listening to people getting so worked up though and the fiery emails, I take all of the emotion out of things and tell them straight out.

I walk in with a new smile every day, I'm positive and I try to create a good vibe around the office as we all have our battles going on whether it be here, home or both.
