Tyne-Wear Derby

See it was a 1-1 draw, Makem's v Toon @ Sunderland.
I saw the 1st half, the momentum seemed to be with the Makem's.
Who scored 1st?
If the Mackem's did, the Geordies did well to get out of trouble, if not, they may have stolen an unlikely victory in any case.

The Toon take on the Reds @ St James on the 24th- that will be worth going to watch at the Casino/Rosemont.

The Toon did very well to get out of trouble.
Although the Black Cats had their chances.
Chopra hit the cross bar.

Damn.

Would have been our first home win against the Maggies in 27 years.

Not now that Chopra's not with them.
However, it'd be nice if he scored one for us!

Was Chopra at Brum DW. I didn't know that.

Same old story, great striker in the CC but not quite the same in the EPL

Didn't he play with the Brummies last year? Or am I incredibly confused?

It would've been nice if he'd scored against Newcastle. My Toon brother-in-law giggled uncontrollably when we picked him up. "Grabbing our rejects" he said.

yeah i know, its a shame they couldnt hold on for a much needed point against Villa.

Im a little worried they may end up sliding back down if they cant get some decent results soon.........

Watched the Derby - West Ham 5 nil thrashing at the Casino Saturday night, and got some weird looks for my loutish support for the Rams !!
Even 5 zip down I was still yelling...C'mon Billy's Boys...C'mon Billy's Boys...
Must say at the 90th I did the chant..."we are Derby we are shite, West Ham you were dynamite"....

Ohh well... :(
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated
