It's incredibly foolish of Trump, Vance, Noem etc. to be making comments that are so vehement in the defence of the ICE officer before all the facts are in. Clearly they are not interested in the justice system operating as it should.

I remember when conservatives would have been very troubled by an incident such as this and exercised caution in their public comments in the aftermath, so as not to prejudice or otherwise impact any potential legal proceedings. (I suspect that it has not crossed the minds of Trump et al that they may ultimately be doing the officer a disservice.)
