I woke up this morning and wtf

The Renshaw omission is such a odd one after top scoring last game yet Green who has struggled for runs so much keeps his spot, like Amber said he needs a spell back in domestic cricket. Then you have Connolly batting at eight, the selectors and coaches are obviously keen on him and want him in the team if they're going to bat him that low but he like Green is so out of form, struggling for runs and therefore not repaying the faith.

Green fills the spot of non-scoring number 3 well.

They should start playing T10's at international level so he has another genre to fail at.

I try to be supportive but as Russell Hitchcock says "I'm all out of love".

Sums up Aussie’s tournament really  Only got themselves to blame.

Maybe they can lose to Oman now just to sink to all time low!

I’d imagine we give Smith and Maxwell a farewell game and maybe after this Trav might even step back from T20 internationals along with a few others

Shoud re-introduce the cricekt reality show "Cricket Superstar" and have the 14 finalists represent us in the next T20 WC.

Most of our success, in all formats, has come about because of Hazlewood, Cummins and Starc and then add Smith and Head with the bat. Add in Marsh's testicular explosion and it wasn't meant to be.

We've prioritised Test Cricket over T20 cricket, and I see no problem with that. Bringing Cummins back for Adelaide probably cost him his spot in the World Cup. But, it was pivotal in winning that Test match and winning The Ashes, so it was worth it.

You win some, you lose some. Especially in T20. Zimbabwe have been pretty good in recent times and deserve to move through to the next stage.

I think perhaps a specialist T20 coaching group should take over and leave McDonald and co to concentrate on the longer formats. Steve Smith has already said one of his goals is the Olympics in 2028. Perhaps make him captain of the T20 side to include the 2028 Olympics and the 2028 T20 World Cup in Australia in October of the same year. He's proven he's a cut above any other batsmen we have in all formats.

Next T20 WC is in Australia/NZ in October 2028. With it being scheduled just before our test summer it will be interesting to see how the team looks

You got to be in the side first to be captain.
They got it completely wrong with Smith.

Everyone says who would he replace.
Anyone!
He’s better than every single batter in that side
