Handy for a side that was 1 kick away from a 3peat and haven’t lost anyone. Cheers mate.

Thought the SFL might have grown some balls under new leadership. Hackham played in the C Grade when struggling for numbers. But the Club that pushed for Hackham and Sullies/Lonsdale to be kicked out of the League for not having 5 Saturday teams gets looked after.

Everyone does realise that the other clubs are the ones who vote on these things don’t they? The league doesn’t just make a decision either way without the member clubs having a say and voting on it. The league is there for the betterment of all clubs. I’d be pretty sure that majority of the other clubs would not vote to kick out a club, but would work with keeping them in the SFL wherever possible.

However, I agree that if they can’t field an A Grade side, they should be made to field a C Grade team like Hackham did years ago. Not growing and developing their junior program is now coming home to roost unfortunately and it will be a LONG road back to being competitive from here. Especially with Porties doing so well in all grades and just being up the road.
Interesting 12-18months ahead for the Shoes.
