Incredible performance by Noah McFadyen! Well done to Adelaide, securing a place in the Final, game called at Stumps on Day 1 - Adelaide 5/176 after bowling Sturt out for 98.

In the other Div 1 game, Kensington batted all day to be 4/282 at stumps. I think the compulsory declaration is still at 100 overs? Port will have to bat well.

In the Div 2 prelim, with a Grand Final berth and promotion on the line, Northerns bowled Uni out for 200, but are 2/34 at Stumps. An improvement on last games 31 all out, but 200 will seem a long way off when play resumes this morning.

Adelaide vs Kensington in the grand final. Port gave chasing 341 a decent shake

And Uni beat Northerns so back in Div 1

Yes, first First Grade win after 7 finals losses for them. The game overall was a great advertisement for finals cricket and a nice crowd at Karen Rolton

Hearing all Redbacks players heading to Melbourne for the Shield Final, won’t be available for the GF here. Would make Adelaide red hot favourites if Agar and Pope are out.

Will depend how the young Adelaide players handle the pressure as Kensy been there, done that for many years. Not sure Adelaide are that good, even some of their own officials have said that, have the best player in the comp in McFadyen but if they get him cheap only have Carroll who is better white ball player, so heavily rely on those two. Getting Stockdale been great pick up.

Going to be fascinating match, will go Kensy just due to experience but like to see Adelaide win.

Without their QLD imports they would be nowhere near it. Also, it would depend on what the pitch is like this weekend. I heard it was a case of who won the toss won the game at Glandore last week. There must have been a lot of rain there toward the end of last week  because it was a wet greentop and McFadyen exploited the conditions. However, Kensington without their imports aren't much chop either - although their local players are better than Adelaide's. Hard one to call until we see what the lineups will be.

Kensington will rely heavily on Fatchen with the ball with no Thornton, Agar, Pope. Need him to take early top order wickets otherwise the Kensington attack is a bit thin. A few Kensington batters found form last week after an ordinary couple of months

Interesting game

It is on tomorrow night, and would have thought so, BUT…….

The phantom results were surprising:

Bradman Medal (Div 1):

Cameron Valente (PA) 30 votes
Noah McFadyen (Adel) 26
Cameron Fatchen (Kens) 25
Connor Carroll (Adel) 16
Liam Greber (PA) 15
Zac Keough (ET) 15
Josh Kann (PA) 14
Jake Fraser-McGurk (WT) 14
Cameron Behrendt (Wood) 13
Ryan King (ET) 13

Sincock Medal (Div 2):

Jake Winter (GL) 27 votes
Brandon Bray (ND) 18
Marcus Lee (GL) 17
Jesse Arthur (GL) 17
Thomas Menzies (Uni) 15
Sam Kerber (Uni) 14
Isaac Higgins (GL) 13
Thomas Brown (Uni) 12

Think Noah McFadyen deserves to win but Valente after Xmas took bucket loads of wickets. Don’t think will be four way tie again, maybe two ;)
