Australian Golf Masters

Love the golf punting - despite the Jesper Parnevik collapse some months back!! - and seeing what the rest of the stable has come up with for this first big one of the season.

I've taken Leaney at $31, Jarrod Lyle at $34 and Aaron Pike at $101. For a little nibble, backed Allenby to miss the cut at $6, and Simon Khan to run top 5 at $7.

I love my golf and punting on golf too PP. ive taken Richard Green at ew 17's to win and also 4's for a top 5 finish and Jarrd Lyle at $3.50 for a top 10. Now as for Parnevik it couldn't of been any worse than when I backed Thomas Bjorn to win the British open a few years ago at 51's and held a one shot lead coming to the 17th par 3 and landed in the sand off the tee. It took him 3 tries to get it out and i think he took a 6 ending all chances. Good luck with your picks

Ha - talk about playing a player back into form!!

Had also laid off with McIlroy at $23 and Palkdaris at $41, so hopefully may come out with something after the jinx on Allenby!

Hate to say it Warrior, but when a player goes into the final round 4 shots clear, when you've backed him at $61, and he loses at the second hole of a play-off, that can also be painful :(
