sydney-dog wrote:my observations so far
Cats, look strong, very even side across the board, should still be playing football in the last fortnight of the year
Brisbane, will still be hard to beat at home but will struggle away from the Gabba and are aleady struggling for depth
Bulldogs, explosive running game but would like to see against quality opposition
Richmond, Gonski, they have absolutely nothing, except for N Brown, lacks class
Sydney, traditionally always start the season slowly, saying that will not make top 4
Essendon, good time to catch Syd in round 1, have a dream draw for the season but there midfield still lacks class and depth
Roo's, just may suprise, Simpson, Wells, Rawlings, Harvey, Grant forms a pretty good midfield, finals is not out of the question
Power, in for a tough season, they need two Chad Corne's, one for the midfield, one for down back, midfield is a real concern, it lacks grunt, class and depth, supporters Brace yourselves for a tough year

He's a strange boy that one.. very talented though. When I saw Dockers v Cats i NAB, he was running back to the square, & it looked like he was trying to ice skate on the TD surface!Wedgie wrote:Also on the Cats their reserves won by around 8 goals, 17 goals to 9, Nathan Ablett booted 7 & Lonegran 5 also.

As one of the games greats once said - Its not a Sprint its a Marathon
Want to wite the lions off - do so at your own peril. We DID NOT win three in a row without giving up without a fight!!!
GO LIONS!!!
