Pretty dirty with this Archard signing if it is factual. To leave half way through last season because he was missing home and disillusioned with footy, and to pop up a few months later at a club I loathe is hard to swallow.

Us South supporters are a bitter lot [/quote]

Yeh you wouldnt leave South, cause you enjoy playing in the Windiest coldest place on earth, at a country oval with cars tooting horns, and the biggest under achieving, money wasting club in last 5 yrs!! Oh and the most popular Coach going round.. Think i would miss home too!!

what is wrong with that ? he'd need a computer as well to save on the phone bill

I would have thought (assuming he was part of the salary cap), losing Hart would release a fair whack of the cap.

When non-North supporters said that at the start of the year, North supporters informed us he was playing for peanuts and getting a pretty penny for being an assistant coach.

At which end of the season are our pockets getting pissed in?

When it comes to North I think the question is 'which of our pockets aren't getting pissed in"?

Yes, but does JTC know the size/breakdown of his contract, or is he guess-timating?

So the Eagle player that left the eagles. Went to the AFL came back to Adelaide decided to play for South and now has headed home to Woodville is going to COP HEAPS.
He has decided to come home Bro can not fault a man for making a mistake and then rectifying it.

Go you EAGLES

Yeah, you have a point on Wright. Still disappointing though.

This is a been there done that moment with Archard the Eagles had something along the same lines with beveridge and Sturt .

I would be bitter myself if my club had your clubs record. And then to appoint a former port coach who has done stuff all at any other club than port.

Cheers

Taking Collingwood to a Prelim Final, IIRC, is much better then stuff all.

Did he win a FLAG at Collingwood /West Adelaide (I might be wrong dont think he did). And that last game at Port jack looked old and tired very tired.
Sorry but certain footy fans and media measure success with the number of flags won .Outside of Alberton his cupboard appears a mite bare.
