Globe 30 November

Postby SCD » Thu Nov 29, 2007 9:25 pm

I'll pop up a full preview tonight (but will only be backing my selected bets)

R1 - expect the 1 to lead and walk... so 5 on top (should go to the breeze) from 1,3,7,9
R2 - 2 a special (if G Butler has worked out the winning post is in the home straight) from 3,4,5,7 and 1,6 rough place hopes...
R3 - 1 should lead, with 2,4,6 all going forward.. this is a no bet bet race, but for the betfair punters if the 1 is too short - take it on...
R4 - 1 a e/w special from 2,4,5 with place hopes to 8,10
R5 - 6,7,8 the only winning hopes
R6 - 2 and 8 from 7 in exotics (best roughies for a 3rd place are 1,5)
R7 - 2,3,8 the best hopes from 7,10,11
R8 - 7 on top main dangers 1,6 and place hopes to 3,4,5

Suggested Bets
R2 - 2 win
R4 - 1 e/w or win

Betfair Best
R3 - 1 if under @ $2.50
R7 - 9 if under @ $3.00
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

r2 no 2 e/w
r3 no 6 win
r5 no 8 e/w

if you could get huge odds i'd have something on the worst driver in race 4 who is also coming from the worst draw but you will need huge odds at least 14/1 to make it worth it

never in danger was correct but it was way too short (before the race) & way over the odds (after the race), i couldn't back it at 1.20 it was showing just before they scored up
