Maybe we should start a competition to have an aussie term for it. I think basketball may also call it transition play.

What about "end to ender" or "quicky"?

I can see the headlines:

"Doggies go on scoring rampage - 5 quickies in 10 minutes"

"Why do I love the SANFL"

- At what other game in Adelaide can I buy a beer, take it back to my spot, and catch up with mates, knowing I won't be herded back behind a yellow line by a redcoat?

- I can rock up to any game, get a ticket for $8 and not need a second mortgage for lunch, nor a queue for the entire break

- I may not see 300 marks a game taken, but I know I will see hard, man-on-man footy, with a series of contests all match, where the crowd is often split evenly, with friendly fire throughout in the terraces.

- Can go on to the ground at the breaks and hear some of the coaches addresses (yes, albeit with good ears  )

- Because I have followed the Redlegs all my life and love being able to go along to follow their fortunes and see some mates there, and head back afterward to talk about the game, without having to walk 20 minutes to do so, and then pay admission to be there.

SANFL footy? Why wouldn't you love it? It means the world to me and all of us on this site, and footysa.
