Saw Man U v Arsenal last night - Rooney turned it on big time

Awesome player ... Comparisons with Gascoine (sp?) are pretty legit ... If he can hold his temper when it flares up, the boy can be anything ... Has incredible talent!!

He is a star for Man U and playing in the premier league. What will he do for the poms in the world cup is the real test. England potentially can have a fantastic side but I fear like Rooney himself they will come up against better opposition and will find it hard. I barrack for Man U in the premier league and 1 thing I will say Rooney is our most valuable player.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Rooney in doubt for the world cup?! There is a god. Love to see the pom's choke in the major cup's :lol:

England have now gone from 3rd favourite to big outsiders. I don't think Rooney is good enough (yet) to win England a World Cup off of his own boot.

I do .. But having said that, half the players at the World Cup would fall into that category just about ...
