Without being unkind Sherrin, you'll find some useful info job-wise on this site from people who've been around footy a long time. Never too old to learn mate.

Ok, point taken Rooster. Just finding it a bit hard to forget the very public sledging this site received via the Final Siren earlier this year and wondered why O would want to be involved here if we're as bad as we are.
Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.

Mentioned before that a few of the TV blokes are hanging up the boots, and that the 'New' Football mercenaries would cash in. Word on the street is that they've signed up a few ex West Adelaide players, and that they'll be right up there on the 35 point mark.

Stewart Dew after his one training run with Kersbrook last year, impressed so much that he was drafted by Hawthorn yesterday.

Any truth that the Lallard connection at Maccy, have headed back to town after the appointment of Shane Mitchell as Coach for next season?? Apparently Mitchell bringing some players but appears to be losing some too.

As mentioned on River Murray Thread, 5 of them did sign with Tailem Bend, well before Mitchell was appointed coach but only 1 of those 5 is certain to be staying there as Tailem had already nearly maxed out their points before they started talking to the Maccy players. Maccy is still in talks with the other 4 but there is another 1 again who is going back to Morphy Park.
Can assure that the decision for them to look at Tailem Bend had more to do with money than dissatisfaction with the club.

How does $60,000 + go into 35 points? Have they got their apology from the League yet? And what was the apology meant to be for? Geez they got heaps of support in trying to get rid of the Prez too.

Hope the Gums improve for the comp's sake. They've only beaten their arch rival and neighbour Kersbrook 3 times in the last 20 years!

Obvious with the money being touted by TV and Coach Hughes, he dosnt have much confidence in his own ability to coach, if he needs to spend that sort of cash??? The locals would be a put out, if there is any left?
