I heard the Mcdonnell lad has been smashing the jetty to jettys and is leading the pack in terms of fitness, definately going to be seeing big things from him this year.

Is it true "dutchy" Holland is back out at Henley?
Good player in his hey day,but not loyal.
He'd be lucky to play 6-8 games for the year.
He'd also be kidding himself,if they were A grade.
Actually he'd get on well with the lemon.
They rate themselves very highly!!!

Does big Placey know who you are No Mercy? I think he'll eat you with some tomato sauce for breakfast if he finds out who you are.

Why the incessant bagging off him? I don't mind it, just wondering what he did to make you dislike him so much. I assume you've had more to do with him, but he didn't seem arrogant against us and he can obviously play a bit, he does kick a few goals.

do you think Place will get much of a go with Henley in the A grade this year??? I know he turned down a lot of money to go there, we offered him 200 a game he said he had been offered 400 a game, i wonder if that was henley who gave it to him or he knocked that back too... a lot of money to knock back i didn't think Henley would be paying that much for him...

fudd,he' a big unit that should really dominate with his size, yet he drops far 2 many balls, doesn't leave the goal square & lets opponents run off him, which sets up alot from defence, for the opposition.
You ask him & he don't see that because he's 2 wrapped up in think'n about himself, rather than the team.
He's never been a team player,its all me,myself & i.
I think the $200 you offered was way over what he's worth & for him 2 say he's been offered $400 is absolute bullsh!t.
Henley would be giving him $50 & thats being 2 generous,
He's no loss as far as a recruit for you mate,he'd be more of a liability. =D> =D> =D>

I'm not in the practice of making negative personal comment on players but No Mercy is SPOT ON. I can't fault the above statement at all. His arrogance wouldn't be welcomed at most clubs i'd say...
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

Lots of arrogant players going around FC. How many goals had he kicked before leaving Seaton last year? Was around 50 odd if I remember correctly. Kick that many goals and you're bound to make an A grade side unless there is something seriously wrong with your attitude. Especially as he is starting at a new club, he may keep a low profile and be a good asset to the team.

FC, you may be a bit premature in bagging the bloke as I'm guessing you've only come across him twice. I'd just be concerned we're all getting the wrong end of the stick because of one or two blokes who obviously don't like him having a go on here.

Like you stated Andy, you kick that many goals, your bound to make the A grade side, unless theirs something wrong with your "attitude".
Thats his problem,if you read previous posts correctly, you'll see he's always been about himself.
Its always someone elses fault when he fails to have a good game.
Nothing worse than blaming someone else all the time for your failures.
As you know Andy, footy is a team game & if your not team orientated, serious coaches won't have you in their side & he"s definately not a team player & never will be.
He let down alot of coaches, players & hyriechy at Seaton & it was the best thing for Seaton to give him the AS-.
Now Seaton can move fwd.

I did read your posts and I realise you think he has an attitude problem but was more curious to find out what the other Seaton commentators thought. It could be easy to get the wrong idea about a bloke just listening to one person.

Err no, I've copped his arrogance first hand.

When they played out at Payneham, I saw him park his car across the driveway of a resident across the road whom weve had complaints from in the past, they're in the practice of calling the police and or council to come and tow the cars and give anyone parked incorrectly in the street a ticket (that, and he had parked half a bees willie behind my car, which I had only just got back from the crash repairers the day before).

So when he came through the gates I tried to do the right thing (being the Club secretary and all) and approached him and said that the neighbours are nasty and that he might want to move his car to avoid a ticket or being towed away and he went to town on me " I can park my car anywhere I f****n like, why don't you mind your own f*****n business" etc..etc... I said to him " Im only trying to help you out mate" all I got was " I dont want your ******* help, **** off"

Hell I was only trying to do the right thing by the bloke...sheesh..

So my comments are not based on what I've heard from anyone else, Im not the type of person to make judgement on someone until I've encountered them myself... the guy REALLY is an arrogant prick.. (IMO)

So in answer to your statement Andy, Yep, he got ONE BIG attitude problem... so he kicked a few goals, he's strong, not talented...

Fair enough FC but that isn't arrogance directed within the team, I think you've told that story before. I'm more interested in stuff that would affect the team. I guess you could say that your example shows arrogance in general which would transfer itself to any situation.

Fair call Andy but I have heard him have a go at his own players that have dared enter his "space" on the field, wherever that may be.. and Im not just talking lack of communication either...

He's a joke full stop Andy & a few others have posted his arrogance & childish behaviours on here recently,so if you havn't seen them ,open your eyes up champ.
I'm look'n fwd to seeing him embarass himself once again next year, this time thank god in a sharks guernsey,he's created enough damage at Seaton & its best he'll be embarassing Henley supporters & there club.
Won't be long & Henley will wake up to it,unless he grows up in the meantime, but the chances of that happening are BOLLOCKS!
It took a long time for a coach to make a tough decision at Seaton & i believe if one of the earlier coaches had made that decision,Seaton would have won a flag.
His behaviour has been simply embarassing for the club & i think his family.
I hope Seaton do well this year, its gonna be tough but,but like the old saying goes,no pain no gain.
