Another controversial wicket, did Kumble hit that? Not so sure... but he's on his way back to the Pav.

Clark has been brilliant but let's not forget Lee who has been Leethal.

Umpire SILLYBILLY dear oh dear oh me
Gives KUMBLE out AIR GILCHRIST B LEE
9/193
He is having a bad day, ANIL missed the ball
several shocking umpiring decisions have marred todays game.
____________________________________________________________________________
We want to spend an eternity deciding on 3 or 4 runs for boundary rope slides and stops
but not the decency to rightfully adjudicate on batsman being out or not
FFS they potentially play over 30 hours over 5 days whats another 15 minutes on getting decisons right !
____________________________________________________________________________

LEE 250 Test wickets.

AUSTRALIA 343
SCARDYCATS 196

The great pity is once again CLARK does not get a crack at the tailenders as others often do.

Ahhh missed out on the forum today (was lovely in the pool RR where were you) anyway this is what Test Cricket is all about, what a great days play, Aussies on top early the the little master showed his class and some fight from Ganguly and Kumble. Then you read the forum, people going this way, that way, everyway, bit like Billy's umpiring, great to see, aussies well on top, so far not missing the retirement of the two best bowlers, or an opening batsman for that matter, or a number four batsman for that matter. Aussies well on the way to a victory in this one, and sorry RR have to work tomorrow so no pool for you, (and to think I had the Birrell so nicely chilled for you)

GEEEEEEZZZZ Test cricket is Boring. Is there any team in the world that can challenge Aust over 5 Days ?????
I Think NOT.
Even the world 11 got thrashed the other year.
Lets turn Test Cricket into a Handicap Event to make it Interesting.
All Teams get a 150 Run Start would at least keep the game interesting for 2 days maybe.

Crap, yesterday was a great day today was so absorbing great to watch good bowling turn teh screws....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

YUVRAH was caught off bat pad the previous over.[NOT OUT OF GEORGIE]
HOGG robbed a confidence boosting first wicket[again bad umpiring can kill test careers]

No doubt they are poor at this part of the game (Running between the wickets) but lets not get carried away, there is no way you should be blaming Ganguly for Yuvraj dismissal, Its not like he needs to protect the number 6 after all.

I dont have a problem with Singh not walking either, the umpires are there to make decisions, which they have shown they can get clearly wrong. Why walk when you have every chance of being given out when you dont hit it anyway? (Kumble) or when the same thing happened to Hogg who did not walk yet clearly hit it the day before.

That descision was as shocking as a Hanson Road hooker.

=D> Good calls pup

That is what you get with Ganguly, he has and always will be a poor runner and an average fielder- and not the best player of the short ball. However, the bloke is an amazing batsman- probably my favourite in world cricket- his record is excellent. By the way- why when you are a poor player of the short ball do people presume your scared? cant you just be a poor player of that length of delivery? with that logic when you miss a yorker maybe its due to fear of getting a broken toe  :? :?

Fair call Tassie, I actually Think Test cricket is the Best form of the Game, its just that i wish some country could actually Challenge Australia to Add some more Interest to it Like England did in 2005.
It gets a Bit (in fact a LOT) monotonous watching Australia Win so easily all the time.

Ponting gone.
Singh.

4 & 3 in two innings.

Are India working back into this match? They love a comeback from the brink...
