Old Football Budgets

Post by gadj1976 »

Guys

I've got the following Football Budgets that I'm happy to part with. I haven't set a price on any of them, cos some of them are just random rounds that I've stored over the years.

PM me if you would like to purchase any of the following:

(all in excellent order except where specified)

Qual Final South v Port Sep 13 1981

Prelim Final Glenelg V Port Sep 26 1981

Round 3 1982
Round 7 1982
1st Semi Final Glenelg v Sturt Sep 18 1982

Round 8 1983
Round 16 1983 (creased pages)
Round 20 1983 (incomplete - missing some pages)
Qual Final Sturt v Norwood 1983 (cutting out of a page)
2nd Semi Final Norwood v West Sep 18 1983 (cuttings out of couple of pages)

Prelim Final Glenelg v Norwood Sept 23 1984 (cover creased)

Round 12 1987
Round 13 1987
Round 15 1987
Round 17 1987
Round 20 1987

Round 1 1988
Round 7 1988
Round 19 1988
Grand Final 1988 Port v Glenelg Oct 1 1988

Round 1 1997
Round 2 1997

Also, random others:

Target (dept store) Football Inquest June 1983
Football Record SA v WA 1996
Sports Weekly Apr 9 1996 (featuring SA's Shield Win)

Please note : I haven't checked these page for page, so anyone who's interested in purchasing, I can provide photos, and review each page, provide major stories etc.

Cheers

the role of a GM interview with DT I can comment on that but on risk of losing this site and wedgie getting a law suit I choose not to pass judgement.

I must admit, I did raise an eyebrow when I saw who the interview was with. But when you think he was there for a million years (it seemed), he did do a pretty good job. I think the job had passed him in his latter years though.

I do agree with that one doug did good and doug did bad it depends on whom you talk to

Perhaps he means the 1982 PF. As a Norwood supporter I really enjoyed sitting in the airport bar in Melbourne watching the two sides thump the hell out of each other knowing the winner was going to play Norwood in the GF :)

G'day. I have the 1992 and 1993 Budgets, bound into a volume for each season. Also have Budgets from Rd 4 1994 to Grand Final. If anyone is interested, contact me at nowerman@optusnet.com.au.

Without trying to make this an elongated "Buy Swap and Sell" post to rival the ABC Running Sheet(!), I am wondering if anyone has any old SAFA Budgets as well as SFL Budgets (especially from the 80s and 90s) that I may be able to purchase.

gadj, I'm interested in the Rd 19 1988 one, and also the PA v Gl Prelim which I reakon MUST BE the infamous 1982 Granger game...

Please PM me if still available...

Keen followers would note that both these dates saw lengthy suspensions for a couple of Magpie legends...

Quite possibly the greatest minor round game ever in the SANFL.

Maybe from a Sturt supporter's viewpoint ;) I guess it was about the last time the DB's got within 15 goals of Port for the next 6 or so years  (without checking the records)
