Laxman's innings thus far has been superb. Brilliant ton.

Dravid has been absolutely rubbish since arriving here, another crap innings. Yeah he made 50 but he took nigh on 500 balls to reach it. A complete waste, if you are going to be in that long make some runs.

Johnson finally removed Dravid, who edged to Hayden. Terrible stroke considering how long he has been in. No 2s or 3s, he is a terrible runner too.

Another wicket! Hoggy gets Laxman, not a bad delivery, ordinary shot, good hands Hussey!

Superb innings by a champion batsman.

Double breakthrough for Australia. India now 3/185.

Dravid c. Hayden b. Johnson 53
Laxman c. Hussey b. Hogg 109

Two new batsmen at the crease. Big chance for Australia to really get on top now before stumps.

has played some epic innings
todays was another gem, I enjoyed some of those incredible wristy strokes
but he often does it on very good batting decks
cant remember any great Laxman digs on more bowler friendly decks
he will no doubt go missing in Perth
AND
he plays some amazing innings, but too many failures in between

Can't argue with any of that mal. I will stop short of declaring him a certain failure in Perth though.

If you can't make runs at Adelaide you may as well give it away. Who wouldn't enjoy batting there?

Not only is it a beautiful pitch and ground but it's their home.. it makes their failures there even more frustrating!

Stumps. Hogg bowled two full tosses in the final over, including one on the last ball. His penultimate ball, a wrong 'un, was a beauty though.

Another fantastic days play.
