Geez mate, news travels very fast. All confirmed yesterday, April 5th Portland vs BOS @ Portland, week before round 1.
Should be a good hitout for both teams.

yeh we heard it from the coach, thank god its on ur oval and not our piece of concret.

Our oval will be top notch, we get it back from PACC on the 1st of April. It will be firm, but excellent for footy.
Look forward to catching up, maybe a beer or 2 afterwards.

Are there any other clubs with trial matches planed already?

Trials are generally good fun!! Having the experience of playing against other clubs that are not within your division is always exciting.

Sorry Joker,
I will change that to Rhys actually told me he was thinking of having a year off.
It was just at the end of finals time and I have not seen him since.
so more of an inquiry really.

If he is playing that is good as Haven's need him to redeem themselves after this year.

I did word the previous post badly so sorry for that.

Hi guys,

From the Adelaide Lutheran point of view, a few of us caught up for X-mas Drinks last week. We wont start training until middle of jan, put i know of a few boys getting together a couple times a week.

Our only loss at this stage, as far as i am aware, is our No.1 ruckman, who is heading back too Loxton North to work on his oldies farm. He will be a big loss. Not much on the in's, but there could be a couple of old faces coming back.

Merry Christmas guys...

I hear a few players have left Portland & are trying there luck in Div1 with Seaton again.
Has anyone from Portland got any confirmation on this?
I would say they'd be going to add some depth to the Bgrade if so.
No chance i'd say of any of them making the A grade side, regardless of how many Seaton have lost.
Maybe its all Thompson can recruit?
It worked for him coaching the Bgrade, but it aint going to work for him coaching Agrade.

they all wanna play with there mates at seaton. hearing marshall is the key and the guys are wanting to play with
theer old coach. lets face it portland are a basket case off field wise with every one wanting to run club. boys reckon
this woman who runs it is a nutta and no idea bout footy. this comes from guys who play there so what chance they got

The only 'state' you have been in is one of confusion, and dillusion.

Check your facts, and your own backyard !!!

Both Seaton and Portland start pre-season next Monday, so lets wait and see.

No one has left Portland for Seaton mate, everything going along pretty well down our way actually. Pre-season and trials organized, all ready to fire up this Monday.

Hey MERCY, looks like weve made Felch a little insecure. Like u I was not stirring pot but only heard same rumors as u must have done also. Dont support either Portland or Seaton, but like u heard same stuff round the port. gee he really was touchy over that one we both heard MERCY. often when that touchey there some truth to it maybe. Hey dont care anyways but on new years eve i was in a conversation with at least 2 of those 4 players who are going to train with seaton. maybe changed minds or something but something not right.

not stiring pot felch, only what was being said. maybe piss talk, maybe not. why be so defensive though if guys are trying to better themselves by playing a1 footy insted of down at portland. insecure and selfish maybe as well. if you were a little club like portland coouldnt blame lads for givin a1 or a2 clubs a try out. why not try port district or seaton or W-lakes. can only help there footy
