I'd be happy to swap JAS, would be a bit easier to sleep at night, i'm sure it doesn't even get up to 30 in your part of the world ;)

Thankfully it doesn't...the humidity would be a killer. But I have enjoyed those temps elsewhere...Ascension Is, Cyprus, Jordan and surprisingly Moscow and without the humidity it was heaven. Although not sure if I could cope with 40C that you guys can get...be nice to find out though...and I've worked bloody hard over the years to help get global warming to where it is today...so it's only fair

In a previous life I had a job tutoring an aboriginal student at Flinders Uni. The aboriginal liasion officer (or whatever her title was - I don't remember) was a full-blood aboriginal lady from the northern extremes of the continent. She would routinely have the heater turned on in her office when the temperature was in the mid thirties or higher.

I'll mention one for Silicone Skyline:

Cops who give you $300 speeding fines.

I'm sure he'd be pissed about that.
I'll quote you the SMS:

300 down.
Fu*kin cops.

He was somewhere between Burra and Whyalla I would think.
And yeah, i know it's bad to speed, but when you're in the middle of nowhere it's hard not to go up to 120 kph.
