First I've heard of this Newman...

Who's his father-in-law?

He used to get a kick here and there...

The old man was a gun though. Used to have to look after his younger brother a bit on the field a fair bit too.

Must feel great to be wanted by all these clubs at the "ripe old" age of 34.
Good luck to the bloke wherever he goes.

That's what I hear too... But his older brother felt obliged to look after him at times - pair of tough old bastards.

The first family of the Salisbury Football Club would never blow their own tyres up, would they?

That's hilarious Pag. I'll have to let Bazz know that one, he'll get a kick out of that (I suppose with the passing of his old man a year ago, he is now King Bazz?).

I'll never miss a chance to speak about how good he was, it deflects attention away from my efforts...

He's more than welcome, passes the grade, so long as he can now handle the paparazzi chasing him every time he drives through Salisbury.

Yeah Ed's in charge again.

And if by paparazzi you mean cougar-swigging homeless guys in front of the Eureka or the Stockade, then yes, he (and his sprare change) will be very much in demand around John St.

If this is referring to Paul Marshall (Seaton) I have it on great authority that he is 50/50 between Seaton and Portland, with no other clubs in the mix....

Maybe you could clarify this further Felch?
