So who are this year big recruits and what are they getting paid?? Only if your are in the know cos we don't just want crap rumours being thrown around.....

Have heard some crazy amounts for amateur footy!!
Harsh but fair.....

i got 30 bucks a game last year, worked out a dollar a kick, now thats outrageous :)

I'll take a stab and say that not very many on this site would know exactly what other guys are getting paid, unless it the person in question himself...

Read on another thread that Travis White is on $450 per game at Athelstone...

That would have to make him the best paid player in Div 2?????

reckon that is a very good assumption. could even be another note on offer. along with himself he has another 5 mates coming with him! would be worth it

Very good assumption, if you talk to the people invovled they are not shy in lettting you know how much + incentives have been discussed. Must get my hands on one of those Money Trees or do they only grow in Athelstone.

Unbelievable, Polkie just came out tonight and told me he was on $450 a game plus a large sign on fee. Didn't even bloody train. At least he was spending some of it on the bar, he was pissed as a fart watching the cricket.

Yeah just spoke to him then....he confirmed the amount but mentioned a $5000 sign on fee he got also....Mate hit him up for beers every saturday nite, his pockets will be full.
