Dogs vs Bays scores

That is the best effort of 4 qtr footy from the bays I have seen. Hard at the ball all day didn't back down and made contests out of everything they could. I would suggest nearly half the bay players would have been in the best players before you found a Centrals winner on the ground.
I think Gowans will get off at the tribunal. It was a fend off with the forearm that made contact with Cranstons head. I don't think it was deliberate.

The dogs were very undisaplined and I'm glad the bays finished off and didn't let them win a qtr as they didn't deserve to.

Just a tremendous team effort of pressure running footy.

My moment of the day was kirk running down the ground through the middle haveing a bounce, handballing, getting it back moving around a centrals player handball to Willits who had run down and goal from 50 out great moment for me.

Jimmy right from the start I've been saying that Sturt, together with the Bays and the Legs will be the teams pushing for the last position or two in the 5. I have seen the Bays 3 times this year and I've got to tell you, right now Sturt aren't even in the same ball-park. Glenelg were outstanding yesterday. Some of the best team football I've ever had the pleasure of watching. Sure they had everything going for them - strange umpring decisions went their way, the ball always bounced into the hands of a running player, a Gowans got reported (hooray!). But their gameplan was a no-brainer (get it into the middle of the ground ASAP and kick to a leading forward) and their skills were solid. It was a dry day but they seemed to be able to hang on to everything overhead.

Top stuff Glenelg. Might have to order a Snouts top soon!

A solid four quarters of footy to the BAys.I wonder how many people will jump back on the wagon this week (last week gained about 200 members). I wish SACA had the big screen going as would have loved to see some replays.

Bring on Norf in 2 weeks!!!!!

Its a pity for Glenelg with their current form that the bye comes next week, just when they don't want it!

The "Norf" v Bays game in 2 weeks time will be a ripper, I hope the Bays fans come out of the woodwork for that one, no reason they shouldn't being a Sunday game, the Bays should look at starting to promote this game now and who knows what sort of crowd they could get?

All the termites coming out of the woodwork down at the Bay should be wary, as North might have to come down there & carry out some pest control!

I reckon the Bays toilet at half-time would give any Hellfire club a run for it's money... :P

Great. Better buy my pie before the main match again. You might need to do another Holdy run at 3/4 time, Wedgie ;)

is the bar, I mean caravan on the hill, capable of meeting the drinking demands of North supporters? I imagine a riot breaking out, should there be a shortage...

Don't worry Punky, if the bar runs out of beer (*) then you can release your frustrations in the clubroom toilets

(*) - unfortunately, going on past experience, this is extremely likely to happen.

As Pseudo eluded too, an entreneuporial (?) person could always accomodate the troops.
BUT I'm a much more responsible person these days and could never do what was done 2 years ago.
So, I'll get my 6yo son to buy the carton at the Holdy this year and sell it to the troops, it'll be good pocket money for him!

The SANFL ladder is exactly the same for the top five as it was at the end of the 1990 minor round!!

The bottom four is a bit out of whack as I think Sturt finished last and Centrals and West were battling it out for the final five with South.

However, we will stop our 1990 reminicisng as of now, certainly not going to discuss the GF!!!

I am not going to start writing off Centrals for a long time. Last season won every game I think after being beaten by the Bays. But still its great to beat them considerally.
