I find it all very bemusing that you haven't even read about what you're commenting on , you may actually want to go back and read the posts again mate, no North fan blamed the coach and the person who brought up the coach was a Sturt supporter and we answered a few questions for him. Why do people just blindly post on imaginery things at times? :?

Mind you Jars not playing him in the middle would be one of the reasons he might be packing his bags.
I think the club was a bit premature in announcing this on its website considering he was still training at Prospect on Monday.
I also think there's various factors to be blamed:
1) minimal room to move under the cap
2) North's policy of rewarding long term players with the better contracts
3) Josh wanting a crack at the AFL and feeling he can best do this by playing in the middle
4) North's recruitment of more midfielders

If he is chasing coin perhaps he'd be better off at Glenelg!
I'm sure they could offer him plenty of shares in retirement villages!

P.S. How many players does Sturt have aged over 30?
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

I for one as a North fan am fed up with Jarman. 4 years in a row I've had to scrap up a airfare to get back to Adelaide just so I can watch the finals  Not like the good old days under Hart and McDermott.

Righto this is how it is...If Josh Cubillo is such a "required player" at NAFC, why then in the middle of January is he still un-contracted by NAFC?

Agreed, and why when he still trained on Monday would North issue such a statement on their official site like the one they did?

Anyone could probably talk to Josh if his contract expired on December 31 but as I understand no direct talk has been had with Josh from any other club as Sturt were good enough to still ask permission of North despite it being not required. As I understand it North than said to Sturt "No, you can't talk to him, he's a required player".

I also understand that Sturt had a crack at him when he first came down to play but Josh opted to play for North as friends were there, Sturt told Josh and his family that if anything changed in the future to seek them out. Sturt's CEO Stuart Totham and Josh's dad went to school together so there may be some talk between them but there's nothing wrong with them.

I commend Sturt for the way they've acted and if they do eventually get Josh good luck to them and Josh I say.
