I was there at the time and that's what I thought too....

Had a phone call yet LF?

No phone call just dropped into my work. Cheers for passing on my details!
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

and normally a kookaburra lives in a nest

but good luck this year..from what i heard if heccies brought their A grade game to the prelim you wouldnt even be in this grade..just as well the golden grove "choking" tradition continued in the grand final..

and i expect your oval would be green with the support flowing your way from the govt..prolly watered every night.. you guys burn $20 notes after training to stay warm in winter..

golden grove didnt choke in the grand final, we just smashed them

onli thing heccies didnt do well in da prelim was in goal kicking! apart from that wudda been the best game we played all yr. was gr8 game n golden grove deserve 2 b in div 5 afta bein the best team during the season.

Has put on a lot of beef in the last couple of years but would still dominate Div 5, played Primary and High School footy with him, pound for pound in those days he was as tough as u can get.

Has anyone heard anything about Nick Prokopec playin for a Northern club? Appaently being flown in everyweek to Adelaide from Whyalla (where he now teaches) as match payments????????

Bondy leaving Smithfield is a surprise! The boy came to his senses finially!

What you mean by that LE?? I know the family quite well and i thought the only reason they left was to go to Gepps with Stokesy??

My impression and what ive heard was that the ol man didnt have too many friends at Argana Park, and that coz he didnt like the club he made Chris leave. This is from people ive spoken to at club about them. DW would know more than me coz he was there at the time, so i would go on his version more than mine

Don't really know the story you're talking about LE.
I just thought Chris went to try his luck at a higher level.

Yeah your right DW. I spoke to them the other day - there was no problem at Elizabeth. They were only there for a couple of years after leaving Smithfield but did say they enjoyed their time there.

Fair nuff mate. I got wrong end of stick, not the first or last time.
I think Chris would slot back in quite nicely in the midfield there, maybe lacked a bit of hardness in 2007. Did u ask Chris if he is a cert to be an eagle this year?

I dont think personally a player has to be aggressive and crunch opponants all the time, but if they do it at the right times in a game, it can be very inspiring to a team. After initially doubting Jackos abilities ive become a big fan of the way he plays. My opinion anyway, not that its worth a great deal.
