Been doing some research one of the aims of teh Challenger ill-fated mission was to observe HAlleys comet relatively up-close, i.e whilst proximal to our Sun....JAnuary 1986......

First appeared in 85 was still visible early 86.....

And I'm with Mr 66 on the Exhibition Buildings....
