He jumps on to the back foot and nudges a short ball towards the short midwicket region, he sets off for the single but Johnson had sprinted towards the ball and there was no single there, Sehwag said no but Tendulkar was too far down, Johnson has plenty of time to line up the throw and he hits the stumps direct with Tendulkar metres short, excellent work from Johnson and Australia have a big wicket just before lunch

It is amazing that Jaffer was preferred over Sehwag at the beginning of the tour. Granted, Sehwag was out of form, but if you are going to beat the Aussies you have to take it up to them by playing aggressive cricket. Sehwag is the perfect example of this and he never, ever steps down from a battle with the Aussies.

He should have been out last night though, he looked in big trouble but has come out fired up this morning.

This pitch might have been made in the same mould as the last Test here, but with no Warne anymore, and the Indians batting prowess, the close finish in all likeliness won't be there.

I can't see the Indians giving us any sniff whatsoever and I can't see how 10 Aust wickets will fall in less than 2 sessions so I think everyone is happy to leave the series at 2-1

I don't care who replaces him, i would prefer Shaun Tait and just bowl Andrew Symonds and Michael Clarke as part-time spinners. Symonds and Clarke have better figures than Hogg this series.
