Sunday afternoon @ Prospect

I will be thrilled to bits if we get to play West at Prospect and on a Sunday too, better get their early to beat the stampede!

I agree with your comments with regard to night matches in the opening rounds.

However, I don't think there should be a strict format for night fixtures, ie 2 night games per round. Rather, night games should be used primarily to maximise variety in the fixture, and maximise opportunities to avoid clashes with other SANFL and local AFL fixtures.

Generally speaking, i'd like there to be on average 3 matches per round played at a different times on the weekend, preferably 4, to enable general SANFL followers such as myself to attend as many games as possible.

I'd be able, and quite willing, to attend all round matches if they were fixtured something like this:

Friday night @ Glenelg
Glenelg V Norwood

Saturday afternoon @ Adelaide Oval
Eagles V Central

Saturday night @ Adelaide Oval
Port V Sturt

Sunday afternoon @ Prospect
North V West

That was something I was thinking of, too. Some people (like yourself) would go to two or more matches in a round, thus increasing attendances.

Make the last game West V South at Richmond, you can have the bye.
